“ I must admit, I have contemplated going to Mimi's many times over the last year or so to celebrate special occasions! Well I finally went this past weekend, and my main disappointment was that I have waited so long to have the amazing dining experience that Mimi's Table provides. From the moment I called to make my reservation, Ethan, the GM, was absolutely wonderful! He was excited about my birthday, and was very welcoming and professional. He followed up personally to confirm my reservation and then personally and enthusiastically took care of me and my guests. One of the main reasons I chose Mimi's is the menu. It is both French and Italian inspired dishes, which are my two favorites, they use the freshest locally sourced seafood (I love, love, love seafood, and used to be pescatarian). They also have several vegetarian options, and half of my guests are vegetarian. Needless to say, on a scale of 1 to 10, the customer service was on a 1,000! The food itself was perfection. The kitchen prepared a special dish for our appetizer, and the braised short ribs will melt in your mouth! All of my guests were very pleased with their selections. The atmosphere was lovely and intimate, simple yet elegant, in a less is more kind of way! The vibe was wonderful and the wine list is too! Mimi's will not just be a "special occasion" spot, it has become a regular on our lists of top favorites in town! Thank you again to Ethan and the whole staff at Mimi's for making my birthday an even more special occasion! ”

As someone that has a tremendous amount of experience in the hospitality industry, I would say this is a restaurant has great ambiance, great service, and amazing food. “ Trout Almondine! That was my entree at Mimi's Table, and my goodness, was it delicious! I wanted to try a new restaurant & I'm so glad I chose Mimi's. Mimi's is both bright & cozy. The ambiance reminds me of a bistro in Paris or Florence. The atmosphere invites conversation amongst friends or quiet dinner for writing (which is what I did). The waitstaff are attentive and engaging. The wine selection was a great choice. The food presentation is Bon Appetite worthy. Did I mention the trout with capers and almonds, buttery mashed potatoes, & fresh green beans were scrumptious? I kept hearing fellow diners make similar exclamations about their dinners. The portions were just right. I didn't order an appetizer because I wanted room for dessert. I ordered the dessert to take home. The owner came out to greet us personally. Chef's kiss! Yes, my feet will under Mimi's Table regularly. ”
“ Overall this was a great birthday meal and I want to go back to try more of their food. Most of their dishes seemed to have their own spin on them, which made them more interesting, and everything was very well executed. I've never had anything with quite the flavor profile as the seafood grill and want it again, maybe with a little rice or pasta, but the scallops were under. Salmon was perfectly seasoned and cooked, although something in the sauce on the orzo had an odd chemically flavor. Lasagna was excellent. Bread evoo/balsamic appetizer was great but needed more bread. Our server seemed to disappear a couple of times but there was apparently some sort of issue in the kitchen. The space is pretty small although they seem to be using it efficiently. That said, this is easily in my top 10 Tallahassee restaurants. ”
